Since moving to Somerville more than 20 years ago, Suzanne had been active in our community.

· Ward 3 Canvass Coordinator, Elizabeth Warren for Senate Campaign

Suzanne is a graduate of Boston University, and Simmons College Graduate School of Library and Information Science. She began her career at Price Waterhouse, built her own consulting company, worked for the New Hampshire State Library and was webmaster for the city of Newton Massachusetts. Until recently, she worked at the Global Development and Environment Institute at Tufts University, where she managed a project that provides access to information in support of sustainable development.

A former member of AFSCME Local 3092, Suzanne was active in the Tufts Employee Association. She has also been a visiting writer at the William Joiner Center for the Study of War and Social Consequences at University of Massachusetts, Boston, and at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown.

She and her wife, Jane Peyrouse, have two children, a son born in Hanoi, Vietnam, and a daughter, born in Katmandu, Nepal. In her spare time, Suzanne is an avid reader and enjoys downhill skiing, fishing, and hiking in the Middlesex Fells with her kids.

A long-time Somerville resident, Suzanne has always been active in her community. Whether registering voters, working on behalf of other candidates, or helping a neighbor get needed services, she has earned a reputation as vigorous, caring and committed.
